Changing the Fabric of Thought

"He who cannot change the very fabric of his thought will never be able to change reality."

- Anwar al-Sadat

I came to work this morning and found this quote in my email inbox. The topic of changing reality has been a popular one on the Higher Balance Institute(HBI) Navigator Forum. They, including myself, aren't really trying to change reality so much as to influence and greater good. Eric Pepin posted a question and proposed an exercise.

If you had to choose three things that you could effect in this world, what would they be and why. Now I expect to get all the normal stuff like love and peace and of course it goes without saying I want the same things. Let me say it differently. A watch and all of its mechanical parts all operate together in order to give you some results like the time of day, the date and month etc. In this case I am suggesting rather than spreading like a color wave on the earth only to be faded in by the noise to concentrate on a few things specifically.

What would they be?

- Eric J. Pepin (1/27/2009)

So if you could, and you can, change the fabric of their own thought enough to reach a high enough state of mind to influence the reality around us what would you choose?

Not an easy question. I am sure many people would cringe and run way at the very idea that they could do such thing. In reality though, no pun intended, they are the ones that would probably make the best decision. Those that would jump at this idea or ability most likely have their own needs placed in front of the greater good for the whole of humanity. Something else to keep in mind is that short term turmoil can often lead to a better future for all.
